Wood Grades

Below are descriptions of the standard wood species and grades we offer in our wood door line. Please talk with your salesman for specialty woods.

Natural-Some color variation and mineral spots. Natural grade may be stained or painted.

Knotty-Has color variation, mineral streaks, open dead knots / pin knots typically chosen when customers want a vintage design. Rustic Knotty has more dramatic characteristics than knotty.

Paint grade-material is sound with no regard for color matching or mineral streaking. Interior panel can be either plywood to match choice or MDF panel.

Actual Product Color may vary. We recommend ordering a sample of the wood you need with the desired finish.
